The day before, we’ll be gathering at the Bistro of the Antikenmuseum Basel, one of Switzerland’s most beautiful museums dedicated to the ancient cultures of the Mediterranean, where we both have our roots.
We’ll offer a selection of drinks and snacks: a relaxed chance to reconnect, meet other guests, and share a little pre-wedding excitement. Admission to the museum’s collections is included, so you are very welcome to spend some time exploring the galleries!
If you would like to have dinner before or after the welcome drinks, the museum is right in the center of Basel, with plenty of nearby options for every taste. Just let us know if you would like recommendations.

Goodbye Coffee & Cake
St. Alban-Tor
St. Alban-Vorstadt 101, Basel
Tram line 3 (stop St. Alban-Tor) or 14 (stop Hardstrasse
The day after, we’d love one last chance to say thank you. Join us for Coffee and Cake in the picturesque and charming setting of the St. Alban-Tor, one of Basel’s three remaining medieval city gates from the 14th century. Today, the tower is home to the Spezi Clique, one of the groups organizing Basel’s famous carnival, the Basler Fasnacht (recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity), and for the occasion they will be opening their doors to us!
It will be a relaxed moment to catch up, say goodbye, and close what promises to have been an incredible weekend.
