We first met at Kannenfeldplatz in Basel in July 2016, and we haven’t left each other’s side since. As we got to know each other, we learned to appreciate our strengths, laugh at our quirks, and realized: "This is a one‑way trip, and we couldn't be happier to take our seats next to each other for the rest of it!" 

Half our time was spent at my flat, the other half hauling boxes while Marko hopped from one apartment to the next! Move number four finally did the trick, and five years ago we settled into a home together.

Basel holds many of our fondest memories, from wandering through the cities outskirts to watch full moon eclipses, dancing at parties until the morning hours, visiting museums and of course the quiet bench in a beautiful riverside park where we sat when we first met. On that very bench, one night last year, we decided to get married!

Now, we’ll close our first decade together by saying the most important “yes” to each other, of course in Basel: dress cool, bring your smiles, and let's meet at the Saint Elisabeth Church to celebrate!
