Dome & Marko 2026

Basel airport
Served by several airlines including easyJet and Wizz Air.

After baggage claim follow the signs to the Swiss exit, not the French / German one.

Take bus line 50 from the arrivals area to Basel SBB (~20 min)
Hotel bookings in Basel include the BaselCard, giving you free public transport throughout your stay, including for your initial airport transfer.

Zurich airport
All major airlines operate here.

The train station is inside the terminal (~1 hour 20 min to Basel); you may need to switch trains at the Zurich main station (Zürich HB) .

For convenience, buy tickets in the SBB app and show the QR code on board.

Basel SBB train station
Direct international services connect Basel SBB with cities such as Milan, Frankfurt, Berlin and Paris.

The station sits in the city centre and links to many tram lines.

Note that most trains from Germany also stop at an additional train station (Basel Badischer Bahnhof), which may be closer to your hotel.

Car
Direct access to the city is provided by the A2 highway.
City parking is limited. Use the ParkSmart Basel app for blue-line street parking: no paper tickets are needed, as your license plate is registered in the app, and your first 10 tickets get 50% off.
How to get to the venue (Elisabeth Church)

Tram
We strongly recommend getting to the venue with public transport.

If you’re staying in a Basel hotel, your booking gives you the BaselCard, which covers public transport for the whole stay; otherwise buy tickets in the SBB app or at tram stop machines.

-
Tram 2 stops at Elisabethen, right in front of the church
-
The Bankverein stop is a three-minute walk away and is served by trams 3, 8, 10, 11, 14, and 15.
-
The Theater stop is also a three-minute walk away and is served by tram 6

Car
If you can only get to the venue by car, please be aware that there is no parking space in the direct surroundings of the venue. The options are then:
-
Use the ParkSmart Basel app for street parking on blue lines (see Car section above)
-
Park at one of the nearby public parking garages (e.g. Kunstmuseum, Aeschenplatz), but account for high fees ☹
