Dome & Marko 2026
Questions?
We know there’s quite a lot of information you might need. We’ll keep the website regularly updated, so hopefully you’ll find all the answers right here. If not, feel free to reach out to us:

1
Do I have to dance?
Yes 😊
2
What do you mean by dance?
We can’t wait to create a beautiful, joyful party with all of you, powered by music. We’ve put together a veeeery long and fully personalized playlist: meaningful, fun, evergreen, and important to us. Expect plenty of hits, plus music from both our countries of origin: some modern, some traditional.

Croatia, where Marko’s roots are, has a strong tradition of circle dancing: "kolo" literally translated as wheel. It’s all about community, celebration, and moving together. Don’t worry too much about the steps: there’s always that aunt or uncle inventing their own anyway! Just jump into the kolo and let it carry you along.
We expect the party to go on until the late (or early?) hours, so give us your best moves and, if you feel like it, sing along to our greatest hits!

What about children?
Marko learned most of his dancing at weddings where he eventually fell asleep on chairs at the edge of the dance floor. We’d love to have your kids join us too, if that works for you. There will be some corners around the church where little ones can play and hang out. Sleeping options at the venue, however, might be a be limited, unless your little ones can do as little Marko did: so you know your kids best, and we’ll leave the decision up to you.

Dresscode
The general vibe will be elegant summery. Dress nicely, but please keep in mind that Basel in late July is usually in full summer mode (around 25-30°C), and the day will be long :) Feel free to bring extra shoes or a jacket: there will be plenty of space to leave your things and pick them up later if needed.
